Lila's initiative towards creating a sustainable, healthy environment is really important to her and climate change is one major area she intends to make an impact. She was drawn to climate advocacy because it creates a better environment for the future. Lila recently graduated from William & Mary with a degree in Kinesiology & Health Science and Environmental Studies. She is currently working for Little Friends For Peace, which is a DC-area based non-profit that focuses on peace education for all age groups.
Lila is an intern for Citizen's Climate Radio this semester. Some of her duties include listening to and providing feedback for the podcast episodes, researching and pitching episode ideas, and creating promotional materials. She also assists with editing the podcasts. Lila hopes to learn more about effective science communication and get more experience in podcast editing.
Lila’s hobbies include gardening, hiking, exploring, and tattoos! Lila’s favorite music includes Vista Kicks & The Pretty Reckless, and she recently got a new pet fish named Gibby. Welcome to CCL, Lila!
