CCL's higher education programs engage students, non-student volunteers, and CCL group leaders in building political will in higher education for a livable planet. These programs offer guidance, a peer network, and resources to help you be an effective advocate within higher education.

Higher Ed Allies

Higher ed allies are volunteers who conduct outreach to higher education with the goal of gaining support for carbon pricing from higher ed and cultivating student engagement. Campus leaders

Campus Leaders are students who want to start a campaign or student group on campus to build support from higher ed for carbon pricing. Chapter interns

As an intern, you'll work with a local group leader and learn how to engage and activate citizens on climate change, and build relationships with elected officials. Internships are unpaid though academic credit is available depending on your academic institution’s policies. Click here to see a sample internship description. Please contact the group leader of a chapter near you to find out if they have an internship opportunity.

If you are a CCL group leader or regional coordinator interested in working with an intern for your local chapter or region, please read more here.
