Carbon Pricing Student Testimonials 

Today's young people will be the most affected by climate change, and their voices are powerful in demonstrating support for climate action. The idea for the carbon pricing student testimonials project came from a desire to share young people's support for carbon pricing at the 2017 U.N. Climate Change Convention in Bonn, Germany. Our Climate and Years of Living Dangerously worked to combine photos of students with quotes on why they support carbon pricing into a video. If you are a student and would like to contribute to the testimonials, please add a post to the “Why I Support Carbon Dividends” Kudoboard. Upload a photo of yourself and a statement on why you support carbon dividends. Please also include your name, city, and state. By contributing you allow Citizens' Climate Lobby to use your photo and statement in lobbying members of Congress and on CCL's social media.

Tip: Our experience with this project is that just emailing the link to students does not prompt much participation. The most effective way to collect testimonials is in person where students can get their photo taken. Have them fill out this form, take their photo, and insert both into the presentation.
